The Thailand cuisine is regarded as one of the best in the world.  Nowadays, of course,
Thailand is known throughout the world, and the reason is the fabulous cuisine.  The last

Rice is the staple food of Thailand and is served with most dishes.  It is usually eaten at
every meal with soups, curries, fried vegetables and nam phrik.  While Thai food has a
reputation for being spicy, in reality most dishes are not.   Jasmin rice is grown in
Thailand, and is complimentary to the other ingredients used in Thai cookery.  
Chopsticks are rarely used to eat Thai food, except for Chinese-style noodle dishes and
rice porridge.

Catering professionals from every corner of the globe now descend on Thailand to sit
alongside holidaymakers taking a variety of Thai cookery courses.  Learning how to cook
Thai food is an art that everyone seems to want to master.  

Among other regions of Thailand, Northeastern cuisine is distinctive as being
particularly fiery and hot.  The spiciness varies by region, and central Thai cuisine is
probably the least spicy of all.

Thai cuisine is  known around the world for the superior blending and harmony of
ingredients and flavors.  

Rice is a staple component of Thai cuisine, as it is of most south-east Asian cuisines.   
Jasmin rice is grown in Thailand, and is complimentary to the other ingredients used in
Thai cookery.    The peppers and curries usually associated with Indian entrées is
ever-present in the Chinese style noodles and rice dishes of Thai food.  

There are six basic seasoning sauces and pastes in Thai cooking - nam pla, kapi, oyster
sauce, soy sauce, bean sauce and curry paste.  A Thai Curry is a mixture of herbs,
spices, vegetables, highly flavored ingredients, peppers, seafood, and much more.  
Anyone who has experienced Thai seafood will readily agree to its great variety and its
savoury taste and sweet smell.
