Lebanese Food, Revised Edition

Lebanese Food, Revised Edition

New Edition Strongly rooted in the culinary traditions of the Middle East and the Mediterranean, Lebanese food draws on the exotic tastes of these two styles. These delicious, easy-to-make dishes--abounding in vegetables, fruits, yogurt, grains, and pungent spices--also are ideal for the health-conscious diner. And, the recipes, from the scrumptious salads to the grilled kebabs, come from an author who learned them right in her grandmother's and mother's kitchens.

Lebanese Cuisine

Lebanese Cuisine

As a young girl, Madelain Farah spent hours in the kitchen watching her mother cook. In an effort to capture her mother's a pinch of this technique she has recreated authentic recipes for Lebanese Cuisine. Originally self-published, Lebanese Cuisine has sold over 150,000 copies since its first printing in 1972. Last revised in 1985, this edition has been updated for the new century and includes an introduction by a member of the next generation, the author's daughter.
